The national chemical industry standard HG/T 6389-2025 Tubular Ceramic Membrane Elements for Clarification of Traditional Chinese Medicine Liquid Materials — for which Shandong Huaci Environmental Protection Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the entire formulation process — officially entered into force on March 1, 2026, and is now fully rolled out across China’s chemical and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industries.
Approved and promulgated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on August 19, 2025, this standard counts Shandong Huaci as one of its core drafting units. For the first time, it systematically specifies the model designation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging and transportation specifications for tubular ceramic membrane elements applied in TCM liquid material clarification. The standard fills the gap in China’s ceramic membrane field for TCM clarification, where no unified industry standard previously existed, and provides an authoritative technical basis for the high-quality development of the sector.
As a National High-Tech Enterprise and a council member of the China Membrane Industry Association, Huaci has been deeply engaged in ceramic membrane separation technology for over a decade. The company operates the Zibo Key Engineering Laboratory of Ceramic Membranes and holds 20 patented technologies, with its products widely applied in sectors including biopharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, food and beverages, and environmental water treatment.
Being invited to participate in the formulation of this industry standard represents strong industry recognition of Huaci’s R&D capabilities, product quality stability, and mature engineering application expertise. It also marks a further enhancement of the company’s industry influence and leading position in the niche segment of ceramic membranes for TCM clarification.
The implementation of the standard will unify the industry’s technical entry thresholds, standardize product quality management and control, and improve the stability of TCM clarification processes, supporting TCM pharmaceutical enterprises in boosting quality and efficiency, reducing energy consumption, and advancing green production.
